[REVIEW] Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Highlight- 01

I first heard of this product from Kathleenlights she reviewed it in a monthly favorites or favorite/top highlighters video – which one? I forgot. She just looked so healthy and beautiful with it. I wanted a highlighter that will make me look fresh and dewy without blinding people. My ideal look is that pretty girl next door / high school girl who looks absolutely flawless and effortless with just mascara and chapstick but in fact is wearing a ton of product lol.

About the product: An ultra- smooth baked face powder that provides natural colour with soft matte radiance.

wake up the skin, and provide natural colour with a radiant, healthy glow for a flawless, no makeup look. Sheer, buildable coverage lets you customize your glow. While the modern multidimensional matte finish imparts a hint of luminosity.

It is described as a golden nude color on the website.

I absolutely love this product. Definitely my go to highlighter as of this moment. I will apply this after spraying Avene Thermal Spring Water all over my face for that extra dewy look.

I know the Essence Pure Nude highlighter in Be My Highlight is good dupe for this. Judging by the swatches and photos online they look quite similar. It is just in my case, the dupe is harder to find for me. It is also extremely overpriced when purchased through online sellers.

I am surprised that Laura Mercier in general is a weebit cheaper in my country than in the price posted on the US website and Sephora — edit: Laura Mercier increased prices in my local counters. Kinda pissed me off a bit =_=

I have been using this every single day and I love it! I brought it with me in my recent travel as well. (which I should be writing about soon :p)
